Important Notice
亲爱的同学们：
Dear students:
鉴于当前疫情防控正处于关键时期，按照国家和学校的统一部署要求，始终把师生生命安全和身心健康置于首位，校园疫情防控成为当前最重要的工作。为防止疫情传播，减少人员流动，阻断病毒传播途径是有效的措施；个人防护方面，外出佩戴口罩，勤洗手是容易做到的必要的自我保护。因此，为了大家的健康和安全，根据学校校园管理最新规定，向各位留学生提出以下要求和建议:
At present, the prevention and control of pneumonia epidemic caused by the novel coronavirus is the most important task. Tongji University firmly put the safety and health of students and teachers in the first place. In order to curb the spread of the coronavirus, reducing mobility and blocking the routes of transmission are effective measures; wearing masks while going out and washing hands frequently are easy but necessary self-protective measures. Therefore, according to the university’s latest regulations and for the health of the students, the following requirements and suggestions are made:
1、已经离开学校的学生返校时间等待通知。未经批准不得提前返校。
Without application and official approval, none of the students are allowed to return to campus earlier than the yet-to-be-announced beginning date of the spring semester.
2、与学院导师、辅导员保持联系，及时报告自己的状况。
Keep in touch with your supervisor or program coordinator of your department, and keep them informed of your latest situation.
3、
关注学校网站、公众号，关注个人邮箱，保持电话畅通，及时了解情况。
Pay close attention to the university’s website and WeChat. Check your email frequently and keep yourself available via phone to learn latest messages and information.
4、在校内住宿学生，仅在必要的情况下，进出校门和宿舍楼。避免聚集性活动。在食堂就餐时，遵守就餐安排，分散用餐。
For students who live on campus, it is strongly suggested that students leave and enter the campus and dormitories only when necessary. Please avoid participating in group activities. When dining in campus canteens, follow the dining arrangements and keep reasonable space.
5、在校外居住的同学应遵循学校和所在社区要求，减少外出和集聚，加强自我保护。特别注意，外出一定要佩戴口罩，勤洗手。
For students who live off campus, please learn and follow the requirements and regulations of the university and the local community. Avoid going out as well as gatherings, and enhance the consciousness of self-protection. Special attention: wear masks correctly, and wash hands frequently when you have to go out.
6、
在中国境外的同学，遵守所在国的有关规定，注意自我保护。
For students who are currently outside PRC, please comply with coronavirus-related prevention requirements and regulations of the host country and enhance the consciousness of self-protection.
