To ensure that the application can flow smoothly during the epidemic prevention and control, the following adjustments are made on application accordingly.
I.
Application period
The deadline for self-financed programs, including undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs has been extended to May 15thwhile the deadline for all the other programs remains unchanged. If there will be any more changes, another announcement will be made immediately and the recruitment information updated. Please keep close attention on our recruitment information on our official website (study.tongji.edu.cn).
II.
Changes on documents delivery
Given the inconvenience caused by coronavirus pneumonia, application documents are no longer required to be delivered to our office. They are supposed to be uploaded in the online uploading system according to the specific requirements of the program(s) you are applying for.
When fall semester begins, you shall take the documents and certificates with you for further check. Detailed information will be listed on our Registration Guide and will be sent out with the admission notice. Your admission will be cancelled if your documents are found to be fake.
III.
Upload of online application documents
1. Proof of pending graduation and transcripts
For applicants studying in Chinese universities who are unable to upload the proof of pending graduation and official transcripts at this moment, it is allowed to upload the screenshot of the educational administration system of the university instead that can clearly and completely reflect the individual's academic year and performance. The official proof of pending graduation and transcripts may be sent by e-mail to us before the deadline.
2. HSK certificate
If the official HSK report cannot be provided by the application deadline because of the epidemic impact, applicants may upload the screenshot of score from the official website www.chinesetest.cn instead. If the applicant cannot attend the HSK for now, you can upload your test permit or relevant documents and the official HSK report should be received before the deadline through e-mail.
3. If the applicant has no access to other documents, please write an explanation letter and e-mail us.
