The International Students Office of Tongji University will conduct the review of "Outstanding International Student Volunteer Award of Tongji University 2021" among the international students with academic degrees in our university.

The selection and recommendation matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Participants

Full-time undergraduate and graduate students (international students) in the second year or above;

Those who have been disciplined by the university or publicly criticized by the college during the academic year are not allowed to apply.

The award is compatible with other scholarships on campus.

2. Criteria for Participation

Participated in and organized major volunteer activities of the university in this academic year, with outstanding performance;

Actively participated in various social practice activities (including summer social practice, short semester internship and other practical aspects), with outstanding achievements;

Played a prominent role in the construction of associations and made outstanding achievements in social work;

Took an active part in various cultural, artistic and sports activities, and made outstanding achievements in cultural, artistic and sports competitions or works collection activities at the university level or above;

Actively participated in campus cultural activities, and had good ideas and planning adopted by the university or college, with good results.

3 Application Materials

The Form of Application for Outstanding International Student Volunteer Award of Tongji University (Please download and print it from the website of International Students Office: https://study.tongji.edu.cn/index/cyxz.htm);

Other relevant supporting materials, certificates of merit, etc.

4 Application Process

Students should submit the Form of Application for Outstanding International Student Volunteer Award of Tongji University to their colleges for application, and the relevant person in charge of the college shall sign and seal the review opinions on the application form.

Upon meeting the above requirements, the application materials can be submitted to the International Students Office or sent to tjulxb@tongji.edu.cn with the e-mail subject of [student number + name + Application for Outstanding International Student Volunteer Award of Tongji University 2021].

The deadline for accepting the application for "Outstanding International Student Volunteer Award of Tongji University" is December 15, 2021 (inclusive). After the deadline, the application will not be accepted.

5. Quota and Reward Amount

Several students will be awarded, with an amount of 3000 yuan/person. (Note: The quota will be adjusted by the Review Committee according to the application situation of the current year.)
